NEET Correction Window Closes by 18th May 2018
CBSE had released a public notice on 15th May 2018, announcing that the correction facility has been made available on the official website - www.cbseneet.nic.in. Candidates were instructed to submit their correct data at the time of submission of the application form. Candidates who had appeared for the NEET UG 2018 examination on 6th May 2018, earlier this month, can make changes in the below three categories if required by logging into their account on CBSE NEET portal.
An opportunity was given to the candidates to make correction in their data, on the following categories alone
- Date of Birth
- Category of the candidate
- Status of Persons with Disability
Additional fee needs to be paid in case of the correction in category, if applicable. However, no fee will be refunded by the CBSE
This correction facility will be available on the official CBSE website from 15th May 2018 to 18th May 2018 (5:00 PM). CBSE also confirmed that in no manner the correction will not be allowed after declaration of the results.
A total of 13,26,725 candidates, of which 13,23,672 individuals were of the Indian descent, 530 OCI, 1842 NRI, 621 foreigner and 60 PIO, had appeared for NEET UG 2018.
